Appeal for dash cam footage after stolen car recovered
Motorists with dash cam footage are being urged to come forward after a stolen car was recovered in Shrewsbury.
The BMW was found abandoned on Mousecroft Lane with the engine still running about 5.30pm yesterday.
It had travelled along the A5 bypass, and it is believed it had not long been abandoned when it was found.
Officers are carrying out inquiries to identify the occupants and are appealing for anyone who was in the area and has dash cam footage - or anyone witnessed the vehicle being left - to get in contact.
It is thought the occupants got into another vehicle before leaving the area.
