Police are reminding residents to lock their doors even when at home after a man walked into a kitchen last week.

It happened at about 8.30pm on December 13 in Cavell Drive, Copthorne.

The man is described as in his 40s with light brown hair and was wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.

He apologised and ran off when he was confronted.
