Telford & Wrekin Council's environmental enforcement department is investigating the fly tip, and say a "potential offender" will be interviewed under caution in relation to the incident.

A spokesman for the council said it could lead to a substantial fine if the fly tipper is caught, adding: "There really is no excuse for fly tipping, as Household Recycling Centres are open daily."

To report a fly tip or to learn about recycling centres in the area, visit the council's website on telford.gov.uk and use the 'Bins and recycling' and 'Report it' sections.
