Spate of car crime on Telford estate
Police in Telford are investigating a spate of vehicle crimes that happened overnight and into the morning in Brookside.
Between 7pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, unknown offenders smashed the passenger window to a red Alfa Romeo in Brackenfield, Brookside, and buckled the door in an attempt to break in.
In Brindleyford, the driver's window of a grey Vauxhall Mokka has been smashed and cash and a sat nav have been stolen.
And in Blakemore, a red Volkswagen Golf had a stone thrown through the rear window. Nothing was taken from inside the vehicle.
West Mercia Police will now be carrying out high visibility patrols throughout Brookside, paying particular attention to the affected areas.
