Thieves steal three-ton digger from site in Shifnal

The white and red Takeuchi digger was stolen from a site in the area of Sutton Wood between 5pm on Tuesday and 10am on Wednesday.

The site was secured by a fence, CCTV, alarms, a security team and guard dogs.

The digger was found concealed in the Burlington area, a few miles away, yesterday.

The owner was able to recover it safely and forensic tests will be conducted in an effort to find any traces of those involved in the theft.
