Heart attack man found with £25,000 of cannabis at railway station
A man who suffered a suspected heart attack at a Mid Wales train station had £25,000 worth of cannabis in his possession police have revealed.
Paramedics and members of the public went to the aid of a man and gave him CPR at Newtown Train Station.
It happened on Friday, with a road traffic police officer giving treatment on scene before the Welsh Ambulance Service arrived.
Dyfed-Powys Police then found £25,000 worth of cannabis in a bag the collapsed man had, along with a knife and other items.
In a tweet a Newtown officer said: "Following a male in cardiac arrest at Newtown train station 333/178 gave CPR with members of public until @WelshAmbulance arrived. The male regained consciousness conveyed to hospital. 333 found over £25000 of cannabis in his bag. 616/1019 from @DPPNewtown went to assist."
