Police appeal after farm thefts
Police in Powys are appealing for information after farm vehicles were stolen from two properties in Montgomeryshire.
Sometime between March 17 and 18, a red R reg Landrover Freelander, silver Polaris quad bike and a blue Ivor Williams HB505 horse trailer were stolen from a farm in the Forden area of Welshpool.
A red 2018 model Honda Foreman TRX500 quad was also stolen from within a farm building in the Clatter, near Caersws, between March 18 and 19.
Pc Charlie Jones, of the Powys Rural Crime Team, said: “We are keen to encourage members of the public to report any suspicious incidents immediately.
“Powys is a large county, and we rely on members of the public to inform us of what is happening in our area.
“Don’t hesitate to contact us – even if a report does not need an immediate response, every piece of information helps officers build up a bigger picture and could prove vital in bringing criminals to justice.”
