Range Rover stolen from race course ends up running drugs in Newtown

A range rover stolen from a horse race track has ended up in Newtown running drugs, police have revealed.

Police in Newtown have apprehended a driver in the town who was in a £49,000 stolen Range Rover.

They revealed it had been stolen from Cheltenham Racecourse in March, around the time of the Cheltenham Festival.

It has then cloned and used around Newtown to supply drugs.

Police in the town have also said the arrest is linked to County Lines.
