Two men and a woman arrested in Telford drugs raid

Two men and a woman have been arrested after police carried out a drugs raid in Telford.

Class A drugs, a sum of money and a number of mobile phones were seized during the incident at an address in Mill Bank, Wellington yesterday morning.

West Mercia Police said it received information which led to the arrests being made.

Lawley and Overdale Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Following intelligence received, Lawley and Overdale Safer Neighbourhood Team have assisted our colleagues in the execution of a drugs warrant.

"These drugs would have been distributed within the Telford and surrounding areas and it is likely they would have ended up in the possession of residents of Lawley and Overdale.

"The Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to work."

Wellington Safer Neighbourhood Team tweeted: "Following intelligence received, officers have executed a warrant in Wellington.

"A positive outcome. Class A drugs, a quantity of money and a number of mobile phones were found and seized.

"3 people have been arrested and are currently in custody."
