The woman was unloading a shopping trolley into her car in Shrewsbury Road when she was approached by a female in a bright mustard coloured jacket who was waving a £1 coin and took the trolley.

She then returned and asked for directions to be written on a piece of paper.

It is believed to have happened at about 2pm on April 4.

Police say the shopper later received information from her bank that there had been suspicious activity using her cards.

Between 2pm and 3pm, £900 was taken in four transactions.

The suspect is described as Eastern European, in her late 20s, with shoulder-length hair.

She appeared to be accompanied by two men, one of whom was at the checkout when the woman was making her purchases.
