Search for man who 'tried to grab toddler' near Telford park
A man tried to pull a three-year-old boy away from his mother near a play park in Telford.
It happened on Monday at about 1.35pm when the boy was walking with his mother on a footpath near Pool Farm Avenue in Leegomery.
A man reportedly approached the two and grabbed at the boy's arm.
Police said there was a struggle before the man ran off, appearing to have a limp.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said: "The boy was uninjured but left shaken by the incident.
"The man is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, in his early to mid 40s, of stocky build.
"He is believed to have had dark brown slicked back hair, which was shaved at the sides and may have been tied up in a bun on top of his head.
"He had square shaped glasses and had a full beard that was short and scruffy.
"He was thought to be wearing light blue jeans and a white top and had black gloves on."
