Wednesbury man charged with attempting to murder partner
A 30-year-old Wednesbury man has appeared in court accused of attempting to murder his partner.

Nathan Burns is alleged to have attacked his partner with a knife on June 1.
Burns, of Pattern Drive, Wednesbury, was not required to enter a plea when he appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court for the first time.
He will have to indicate his plea when he returns to the court on September 27 and was remanded in custody until then.
The case has been given a provisional trial date of December 2.
