Ryan Jones, 32, of Arscott, Pontesbury, carried out the foot massage, which helped the woman to go to sleep, then photographed himself licking her toes – which was not part of the therapy.

He was caught out in October 2018 after the victim became suspicious of his motives when he stopped charging for his services.

She decided to secretly film the session at her home on her laptop and captured him putting his mouth over her toes.

When the self-confessed feet “fantasist” was arrested, police also found an image he had taken of the incident on his mobile phone.

The hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court was told that the victim stated that she felt “violated” and her trust had been “betrayed”.

Sentencing him, Judge Peter Barrie said: “You had a sexual fantasy for her feet. Somebody with that predilection who set up business as a reflexologist is asking for trouble.”

Rehabilitation

In mitigation, Mr Kevin Jones said the defendant had immediately admitted his actions to the police and blamed it on issues from his childhood.

“In context of sexual touching, the touching was of her feet,” Mr Jones said.

Mr Jones said his client had since lost the business which had been catering for up to 40 customers.

He said he had voluntarily sought rehabilitation by seeing a psychotherapist since the incident.

Jones previously pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault and was jailed for eight months, which was suspended for two years.

Judge Barrie ordered Jones to pay £200 costs within 28 days and to follow an accredited sex offenders’ programme, which includes up to 30 days of rehabilitation with probation.

He also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the mobile phone. Jones will be made subject to the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.
