Man arrested after knife reports in Telford
A man has been arrested after reports of someone stalking an area of Telford with a knife.
West Mercia Police officers were sent to Dawley on Tuesday morning after members of the public reported seeing a man carrying a knife.
Alex Gale of the force said: "At around 10.25am today we received reports of a man walking along the pavement in King Street, Dawley, with a knife.
"Officers immediately responded and [a] man was quickly detained and arrested and is in police custody. No members of the public were hurt."
