Arsonists target car in Telford
Police are investigating after a car was deliberately set on fire in Telford.
Firefighters rushed to the incident on Church Street in Hadley at about 11.20pm on Wednesday.
It involved a car which had been set alight and a nearby van was also damaged.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service sent one appliance from Wellington and crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
Investigation officers were at the scene and later confirmed the fire had been started deliberately.
Officers from West Mercia Police were also in attendance.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
