Shrewsbury man charged with rape after Telford incident
A 23-year-old man has been charged with three sexual offences after an alleged rape in Telford.
James Bennett, of Old Heath, Ditherington, Shrewsbury, is accused of rape, attempted rape and sexual assault.
It follows an incident in Leegomery on Saturday.
Bennett was remanded in custody and was due to appear before Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
