Car seized and man arrested on supermarket car park after alert from public
Police have thanked members of the public for reporting a man, believed to be intoxicated, with a car on a supermarket car park.
Officers from West Mercia Police have thanked some upstanding citizens, after a man was arrested on a Tesco car park in Madeley, Telford.
Some helpful members of the public stopped the officers to report a male who appeared to be intoxicated.
As a result, the man was arrested, and his vehicle was seized.
The police took to social media on Saturday to praise the members of the public, and share a picture of the vehicle on the back of a truck.
