Man arrested after roadside drug test on the A41 near Market Drayton
A man from Market Drayton was arrested by police after testing positive for drugs on the side of a road.
Shropshire police officers say the operational patrol unit made the arrest on the A41 at Tern Hill after the man tested positive with a drug wipe on the side of the road.
He has been released while the police continue their inquiries.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "A Market Drayton man has been arrested by officers from the OPU on the A41 at Tern Hill having tested positive with a drug wipe road side.
"He has been released under investigation to allow enquiries to continue."
