Appeal for information on armchair arson in Telford
The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is appealing for information after a fire was started deliberately in a shipping container.
Telford firefighters scrambled to tackle a blazing armchair within a shipping container on School Road in Hadley at around 1.53pm on Wednesday.
Fire engines from Telford Central and Wellington were sent to the scene and the fire was under control within half an hour.
On Thursday, the service confirmed the blaze had been started deliberately, and asked anyone with information to contact the police on 101.
