Shrewsbury man admits punching, kicking and trying to gouge police dog's eyes out
A man has admitted kicking and punching a police dog, as well trying to gouge its eyes out.
Scott Storey, aged 38, attacked PD Riley in Shrewsbury on Sunday, June 18. He also attacked a police officer and a woman.
Storey, of Priory Ridge, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, pleaded guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court to causing unnecessary harm to a protected animal, assault by beating of an emergency worker and assault by beating.
He will be sentenced at a later date at the same court. He was remanded in custody.
