Police arrest burglary and assault suspect after intruder alert
Police were on the spot to arrest a man on suspicion of burglary and assault.
Patrol officers responded to a report of an intruder in the Almond Avenue area of Gobowen, near Oswestry, at 9.36am on Tuesday.
PCSO David Hughes, of the Oswestry Rural North safer neighbourhood team, said: "Patrol officers have responded to a report of an intruder in the Almond Avenue area of Gobowen at 09:36 on June 27.
"On arrival they have identified a suspect and have arrested a 55-year-old man for suspicion of burglary and assault."
