Man charged with attempted murder of woman in Telford
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a seriously injured woman was taken to hospital.
Lee Sargent of Culmington in Stirchley, Telford, is due to appear in Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 46-year-old was charged after a 43-year-old woman was found with serious injuries in Culmington at around 8pm on Tuesday.
Sargent is also charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
Earlier on Wednesday, West Mercia Police said the woman had been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital [in Birmingham] where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
