Man appears in court charged with attempted murder of woman in Telford
A Telford man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Lee Sargent, 46, of Culmington, Stirchley, appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on Thursday.
Sargent was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Shrewsbury Crown Court on September 4.
He faces charges of attempted murder and assaulting an emergency worker.
The charges came after a 43-year-old woman was found with serious injuries in Culmington on Tuesday.
