Telford Magistrates Court was told that the school went into lockdown with worried parents gathering outside the gates during the incident in May of this year.

The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, admitted two counts of assault by beating, and one of causing criminal damage. He also pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour.

Miss Joanne Fox, prosecuting, said police were called to the school following reports that a man had been throwing bins at the school windows.
