Stefan Martell Clarke pleaded guilty to one charge of failing to provide a specimen at Telford Magistrates Court

Stefan Martell Clarke, 24, of Hill Road, Overdale, Telford, pleaded guilty to one charge of failing to provide a specimen when he appeared at Telford Magistrates Court.

Neil Baki, prosecuting, said that the charge related to an incident in the early hours of July 16, when he had failed a roadside drink-drive test.

Ppolice officers on patrol had seen Clarke's white Nissan Juke driving on Colliers Way in Telford at around 2am, said Mr Baki.

The court was told police had noticed the car because they could see a woman appearing to be hanging out of the rear right-hand passenger door.

Mr Baki said they had observed the car travelling very slowly, at around 10mph, but due to their concern about the woman they decided to cut across the lane to stop the car.
