Trial date set for 'controlling' Shrewsbury man

A Shrewsbury man is to stand trial next year for the assault and the coercive control of a woman.

Scott White, 39, of Forge Way, Dorrington, pleaded not guilty to assaulting the woman and acting in a way that was controlling or coercive at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday.

The court heard that the incidents spanned two years from April 2021 to February this year.

A trial date has been set for April next year.
