Drink driver with 'total disregard for danger to other road users' narrowly avoids jail
A drink driver has narrowly avoided an immediate prison sentence after appearing in court for the third time charged with alcohol-related driving offences.
Nathan Clarke appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he admitted one count of driving whilst unfit through drink.
The court heard how the 46-year-old recorded a lowest partial reading of 45 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath on June 17. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
