Speeding driver avoids points after court hears 'special reason' for failing to slow
A driver who failed to slow down for a temporary speed limit on a motorway has avoided having his licence endorsed after the court heard his explanation.
Amandeep Rathore was caught by a speed camera driving a Volkswagen at 57mph between junctions 7 and 8 of the northbound carriageway of the M6 on January 9.
The speed limit at the time was 40mph.
