Shrewsbury cocaine dealer jailed after police found drugs and cash at his home
A Shrewsbury drug dealer caught with more than £3,000 of cocaine and £3,000 in cash has been jailed.
Daniel Lewin, of Castle Court, was sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court after earlier admitting one charge of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
Lewin, 42, had been due to be sentenced earlier this year but the hearing was postponed after the court accepted his explanation that his partner had ripped up his character witness statements.
The court heard that police executed a warrant at his home address on April 27, 2021.
Officers found a total of 31.042g of cocaine in five packages of various weights, as well as £3,330.48p in cash.
