As the community in Wolverhampton grapples with grief and outrage yet again, it's a stark reminder of the relentless scourge that continues to plague our streets.
Despite ongoing legislative efforts to stem the tide, the epidemic of knife crime persists, leaving families shattered and futures stolen.
In our recent documentary, titled Grief, delving into the depths of this crisis, we aimed to shed light on the chilling reality faced by countless families across the region.
Through intimate interviews with parents who have endured the unfathomable loss of their children, we sought to capture the profound anguish and irreversible trauma inflicted by these senseless acts of violence.

The documentary was also discussed in parliament last week.
Yet, even as discussions around legislation to prohibit the sale of certain types of knives echo through the corridors of Parliament, the haunting question remains: Why are young people in the region still dying so often?
In a tribute to those whose lives have been tragically cut short, we present the faces of those who have fallen victim to knife crime in the West Midlands in just the last two years.
Each face represents a story untold, a future extinguished, and a community left mourning. And it's truly shocking how many of them there are.
