Road ban for Ironbridge driver who failed to give breath sample to cops
A motorist who failed to provide a breath sample to cops has been banned from driving.
Stuart Cartledge, aged 44, did not provide a specimen when requested by officers in Telford on December 19 last year.
Cartledge, of Poole View Caravan Park, Buildwas, Ironbridge, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.
Deputy District Judge Vijaya Monro disqualified him from driving for eight months. She also made him subject of a 12-month community order which includes 40 hours of unpaid work.
Cartledge was also ordered to pay £135 in prosecution costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
