The first video from March 4 shows the empty land before the building work begins, while the most recent video from June 3, shows the frame of the structure coming into place.

The videos are in week-long sections, recorded live before being sped up into 30-second clips.

The school hopes that the videos will be a way to keep residents, students and staff involved with the building work.

Russell Griffin, a spokesman for Telford & Wrekin council, said: "The school are really excited about the build and it promises to be a brilliant new facility.

"The videos will help to promote the wonderful new school."

The build is all part of Telford & Wrekin council's £200 million investment into transforming the borough's schools and their Building Schools for the Future programme.

The new school, will cater for up to 900 pupils and will be built on the site of the existing college.

The old building, which dates back to the 1940s will be demolished.

The site plans feature sports facilities and pitches available for community use, areas for specialist subjects and improved room layouts and teaching facilities.

Ercall Wood will specialise in cricket and sporting facilities.

The building work on the new school is due to be completed in 2014.
