Princess Royal to open Dairy Crest innovation centre at Harper Adams University
The Princess Royal will visit Shropshire's agricultural university to officially open Dairy Crest's state-of-the-art innovation centre.
Princess Anne will attend Harper Adams University in Newport on April 25 to open the centre, where research, development and technical teams are based.
The royal, who is chancellor of the university, will take a tour of the facility, meet staff and students and unveil a plaque.
Dairy Crest's boss Mark Allen said: "Her Royal Highness will hear about the truly unique partnership which Dairy Crest has entered into with Harper Adams.
"This partnership is built on regular interaction between our staff and Harper Adams staff and students, giving us a link into leading research within the agriculture and food sectors."
Dr David Llewellyn, vice-chancellor of Harper Adams University, said:
"We look forward to welcoming Her Royal Highness back to Shropshire in April."
