Ysgol Dafydd Llwyd in Newtown has moved into a purpose-built school in Dolfor Road, near Newtown High School.

Staff spent a week moving everything into the new building which opened on time and within budget to take up to 300 pupils.

Yesterday the successful first term was celebrated at the official opening of the new school which has been part-funded by Welsh Government. The school is one of a new generation of energy-efficient buildings.
