Smart fundraising challenge for primary school trips
A Shropshire school is using a smart new method for raising funds for school trips.
Hodnet PrimarySchool near Market Drayton is holding a 'Smarties challenge' – every child has been given a Smarties tube for them to take home.
The challenge is for the children to help out around their homes, so their parents or guardians can reward them by putting a coin in the tube for every good deed.
When school trips are allowed to begin again, the money raised in all of the tubes will go towards transport costs.
All Smarties tubes should be returned to school by June 18.
