Telford school puts on 80s production

A Telford secondary school is going back in time for its new play.

Pupils from Telford Priory School who are putting on a productions called Back to the 80's. Taking part, Caitlin Semple, Ethan Slack-Wynn, Ethan Parker, Erin Buckley, with Ellie Jayne Sankey and Lucy Treharne at the front. .

Students from Telford Priory School will be performing Back to the 80s throughout the week.

The show starts at the school Wednesday and runs until Saturday, with each show taking place at 7am in the school's theatre

Joanne Davies, admin office at the school, said: "Go back to the 80s with The Telford Priory School; see those hair styles, clothes and hear some fantastic 80s hits performed live in our state-of-the-art theatre.

Back to the 80s tells the story of an American high school class, set in 1989. It features a number of classic hits of the decade, including Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Kids in America, Footloose, Mickey and Video Killed the Radio Star.

Tickets are now on sale for £4 for adults or £1.50 for concessions.

Family tickets cost £10 for two adults and two children.
