Lorry load spills acid onto Whitchurch road
A lorry shed part of its load of industrial batteries onto a Shropshire road sending sulphuric acid streaming on to the carriageway.

It happened at about 5.30pm yesterday on the A41 at the Tilstock roundabout in Whitchurch.
Police said the batteries broke after falling off the back of the lorry.
The road was reopened at about 7pm.
