Fatal crash driver is named by police
A driver who died after a two-car crash near Whitchurch was today named as 71-year-old farmer David Hopley, from Welshampton.

The incident happened shortly after 9pm on Wednesday on the A539 at Hanmer and involved a silver Mini and a silver Suzuki Alto.
The driver of the Suzuki, Mr Hopley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mini, a woman in her 30s, was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with shoulder, chest and leg injuries.
