It responded to reports of a woman in her 60s being taken ill in Alkington Road, Whitchurch at about 12pm yesterday.
Councillor Rob Hewson, mayor of Whitchurch, said it involved one of his neighbours and wished her a speedy recovery.
He said: "She is a lovely person and I hope she is okay. I want to thank the emergency services for their prominent response."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said it involved a "medical emergency" in a private address in the town, but would not reveal any more details.
