The fire at Burleydam Farm in Burleydam, near Whitchurch, involved 10 tonnes of corn and 10 tons of dry pellets.
It broke out in the roof space of a barn but spread to include a hopper – and was only stopped when the base of the hopper was cut away by firefighters and the dry pellets inside doused with water.
Roads in the area were closed off as fire crews from Audlem, near Market Drayton, Sandbach and Nantwich spent four hours tackling the blaze, which broke out at 5.20am on Wednesday.
No-one was injured.
