Shropshire plant worker hurt in three-lorry crash

A teenager from Shropshire has suffered serious injuries in an road accident involving a number of vehicles in Northamptonshire.

The 19-year-old from Market Drayton works for Hawk Plant Ltd, based in Whitchurch, and is believed to have been delivering a tractor when he was involved in a crash with three articulated lorries.

It happened at 6.40am on Tuesday on the A14 at Rothwell and he was airlifted to hospital in Coventry.

The drivers of the three other vehicles were all taken to hospital with minor injuries.
