Oswestry shed arson attack prompts probe

Arsonists are believed to have started a fire in Oswestry today.

A wooden shed in Beresford Gardens was set alight, with firefighters called to the scene at 4.45am this morning.

An investigation has also been launched into the cause of a car fire in Telford. A two-door sports car was damaged in the blaze in Hill Top Road, Oakengates, at 9pm last night.

And firefighters were called to a house in Cherry Way, Market Drayton, where a kitchen was smoke-logged when a cooker caught fire at around 6pm last night. It caused smoke damage to the kitchen.
