Tumble dryer sparks blaze in Shrewsbury
A tumble dryer sparked a blaze at a Shrewsbury property.

Firefighters were called to a building in Abbey Foregate at about 8.30am today when a tumble dryer caught light.
Two crews from Shrewsbury were on the scene and used breathing apparatus and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the blaze which took about half an hour.
Meanwhile, firefighters have issued a call to make sure chimneys are swept out at least once a year after a fire broke out in Cressage, near Much Wenlock at about 7.50am.
The blaze involved a wood burning stove and firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to access the top of the chimney.
The fire had been put out shortly after 9am.
