Shire horse dies after falling down well in Shrewsbury
A shire horse tragically died after falling into a 15 foot well in Shrewsbury.

The animal was trapped down the well on land at Bicton Lane.
Two fire crews, from Shrewsbury and Wellington were called out at 7.15pm last night.
They had to pump water from the well and then used specialist lifting equipment and animal harnesses and straps to haul the horse out, but sadly nothing could be done to save it.
