Casualty cut free from Shropshire crash involving a horse box carrying cattle

One casualty had to be cut free from a Shropshire crash between two vehicles, including a horse box carrying cattle.

The accident happened just after 5pm on the A458 at Cressage, near to the Severn Way junction.

Fire crews from Much Wenlock, Tweedale and Wellington went to the scene.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the horse box was carrying two cattle.

One person was trapped and had to be freed by fire crews.

The condition of those involved is not known.
