Car ends up on roof after Whitchurch crash

A car ended up on its roof following a two-vehicle crash near Whitchurch.

It happened on the B5476 Tarporley Road, near Whitchurch, at about 10.15am this morning.

The road was closed for a short time while the vehicles were removed.

Anne Tugwell, spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "We were called at 10.15am to a report of a collision on the B5476 Tarporley Road involving a white Audi, which had overturned, and another vehicle.

"The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital."

The driver's injuries are not believed to be serious.
