Woman and three children taken to hospital after car crashes into wall on A519 near Newport
A woman and three children were taken to hospital after a car hit a wall on the A519 near Newport this afternoon.
The gold Suzuki crashed into the wall on the A519 just after 2pm.
The road was closed while emergency services attended.
Staffordshire Police attended and called an ambulance which transported the four to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
Ash Connor, spokesman for Staffordshire Police, said: "Two children aged eight and two were injured, both with head injuries and one with stomach pain.
"The driver is a lady, she's got chest pain from the seat belt."
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "There was a woman and three children in the car, all patients are OK.
Police asked for any witnesses to call 101 quoting incident number 397 of October 7 2016.
