Telford stabbing: Detectives still investigating after victim left with serious injuries

Police have today released a renewed appeal for information after a stabbing in Telford which left the victim with serious injuries.

Detectives continue to investigate a stabbing incident in Telford on Saturday, November 12, and have released a more detailed description of the man they believe to be the offender.

The incident happened shortly before 12.30am outside a property in Wantage, Woodside where a 22-year-old man suffered stab wounds and a collapsed lung.

His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

The offender is described as a well built man in his late 20s to early 30s, mixed race, about 6ft 2ins tall, with short hair, a rough beard and dark, bushy eyebrows.

He was wearing a dark jacket- possibly Puffa rain jacket- with buttoned pockets and a dark, peaked flat cap.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, in particular a group of young people who were in the BP garage in Woodside and may have valuable information.
