Gritter crashes off the road during icy morning in Shropshire
A gritter wagon crashed off the road near Shrewsbury in the early hours of this morning.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital as a result of the crash.
It happened at about 4.50am at Norton Crossroads.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service say the vehicle had left the road and was made safe by the firefighters - who had been sent from Shrewsbury and Wellington.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
