Elderly woman taken to hospital after Shrewsbury crash
An elderly woman was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Shrewsbury today.

The crash blocked Lancaster Road between Harlescott Lane and Mount Pleasant Road for a short time.
Emergency services were called just after 2.30pm.
Firefighters released two people using small gear and left them with the ambulance service.
The woman was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with minor injuries while another person was treated at the scene.
